The AXIS 21 is fit with nineteen vertical drilling chucks, each driven by an individual pneumatic cylinder, and three outlets arranged for various types of operating heads. These outlets are moved by a double cylinder system and, on each, it is possible to install either a horizontal head with facing bits, a cutter assembly with a 120 mm blade or a vertical drilling head for bits up to 35 mm in diameter
