This fan cooled model is capable of delivering 13.4 Horsepower at S1 - 100 % duty cycle in a compact frame size. The extended spindle nose gives more spindle rigidity while also allowing for use of a C-Axis system. This new spindle is designed with the end user in mind. The XLS incorporates component designs to facilitate lower cost repairs. Spindle bearings will eventually fail and the XLS will allow for minimal downtime and costs to get you back up and running. The XLS also has many different mounting configurations to make machine retrofits a simple solution. These mounting configurations will match most of the competitors spindles.
XLS Spindle Features
- All Low Voltage Connections are combined in one military style connector
- One single air input with integrated valve to control all compressed air functions (bearing pressurization, cone clean, tool change, etc.)
- Optional front bearing temperature monitoring system
- Cartridge Style HSK clamp system for no maintenance tool clamping
- Cam Style sensors for easy replacement or adjustment in the field
- Integrated push button for manual tool changes
- 24 Volt electric fan for quiet operation.
